What a Christmas season! Huge thanks to everyone who came out to hear Black Country Brass spread festive cheer across Dudley, Kidderminster and beyond.

From carols at Tesco Extra in Dudley — and all your generous donations — to our lively Christmas concert at the Royal British Legion in Lower Gornal, and fun ensemble gigs around town, your smiles and applause made it truly magical.

One of the highlights was performing for Santa Express travellers at the Severn Valley Railway in Kidderminster, where we were delighted to play alongside the new Wyre Forest Community Choir. Band and choir performed some items together and alternated feature pieces for an enthusiastic audience. A huge thank you to the Severn Valley Railway Company for supporting us and to everyone who was part of the day.

We loved every moment playing your favourite festive tunes and even squeezed in a band social night with fish and chips and skittles! Thank you to our amazing audiences, supporters and venues for making this season so special.

More cornets, trombones and basses are welcome in January — it is too much fun not to take part, so please do spread the word. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from everyone at Black Country Brass. We cannot wait for more music-making in 2026!
