That is a wrap! Thank you for all your support throughout this year’s summer programme, ending on a high at the beautiful Botanical Gardens, with a nod to Al and the loved ones we remember.
It has been a fantastic summer of music across the region. Highlights included our performance of Heal the World at Sanders Park bandstand in Bromsgrove on 31 August, where Conductor Iain Masson led the band through a moving programme for an appreciative audience.
Playing in the bandstand is what brass banding is all about — free live music in our parks and public spaces, enjoyed by the whole community. We are grateful to every venue, organiser and audience member who supported us throughout the season.
We are already looking forward to what next summer holds. If you are a brass player looking for a friendly band to join, we would love to hear from you. We rehearse on Thursdays from 8:00 to 9:30 PM at the Royal British Legion, Lower Gornal.
